Vice President of Supporter Operations
Danika Mitcham

Danika was called by God at the age of 15 to serve children in poverty in the name of Jesus. She has served Compassion for more than 16 years and is a trusted voice across the organization in both building processes and high performing teams.

In 2020, she was named the new vice president of Supporter Operations, overseeing and leading a team of experts focused on the design, management and optimization of core marketing processes and operations that enable us to serve supporters both efficiently and effectively. Her work over the years has enhanced digital and operational transformations creating scale, efficiency and effectiveness.

Prior to working at Compassion, Danika had 15 years of experience in software and telecommunications sales and marketing. She co-founded a ministry in Dallas to invite unchurched, young adults to join in service to others while teaching them about Christ. She also worked for Colorado College and managed a large volunteer corps for a museum on the east gate of Yellowstone.

Danika has a master’s degree in philosophy from Denver Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Dallas Baptist University. She and her husband have one son. In her spare time, Danika enjoys camping with her family, enjoying God’s creation and watching “Dr. Who.”
