Final Report: Flooding in Ifakara and Mikumi, Morogoro, Tanzania
The Compassion Tanzania National Office and church partners have supported all 26 affected participants and their families with temporary shelter, renovations to their homes, and necessary household items.

Update #1: June 3, 2022
Heavy rainfall and strong winds have ceased in the Morogoro region of Tanzania. To date, 26 participants and their families have been affected as well as one Child Development Center (CDC). The Compassion Tanzania National Office disbursed funds and the local CDC is helping impacted participants and their families repair their damaged homes.
Please continue to pray for the affected participants and the Child Development Center as they begin the rebuilding process.
Disaster Alert: February 4, 2022
In early January, heavy rainfall accompanied by strong wind affected the Morogoro region of Tanzania affecting the Ifakara and Mikumi communities. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) in the area is assessing impact. So far, 26 participants and their families are reported as impacted when their homes were damaged or destroyed. Two CDCs also received considerable damage to facilities. The Compassion Tanzania National Office is coordinating with the CDCs to provide relief supplies to affected participants.
Please pray for the affected participants and the Child Development Centers as they make repairs and recover from this storm.
