The flooding in Antioquia and Urabá has ceased. In total, 103 participants and their families were affected. The Compassion Colombia National Office distributed funds to the local Child Development Centers (CDCs) which allowed them to provide impacted families with food, water, blankets, sheets, mattresses, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter.

Disaster Alert: April 26, 2022

April 26, 2022 — On March 6, 2022, heavy rain caused flooding in Antioquia and Urabá. Many homes have been damaged and personal items lost. So far, 128 participants and their families have been reported as affected. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) are providing impacted families with basic relief items, food, water, and temporary shelter. The Compassion Colombia National Office will continue to assess the situation and provide updates as they become available.
