Gerald Lorenzo

Gerald Lorenzo’s life is fueled by his love for others, his passion to serve, the grace of God, and his entrepreneurial spirit. He is the CEO of Mr. Visa LLC and Asesoria Consular RD, an organization that provides immigration services in the Dominican Republic and most Spanish-speaking countries. He is also developing a ministry called One by One Child that focuses on evangelism efforts geared toward children.

He is also one of the servant-leader of his church in Fort Lauderdale, where he is part of the prayer team, and encourages others to be committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Gerald didn’t always imagine he would have such incredible opportunities. Raised in a dangerous neighborhood in Santo Domingo, and abandoned by his father when he was only four years old, his childhood years were marked by difficulty and heartache. His mother worked hard to provide, but there was simply not enough money for basic necessities. When his mother learned about Compassion International’s child development program, she immediately enrolled him. At six years old, he received a sponsorship into the program and everything started to change. With the provision of nutritious food, education, and other physical needs, Gerald began to flourish. After graduating high school, he went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in business management.

He is currently pursuing an associate's degree in Paralegal Studies. He also graduated from the Public Policy Process program at the Leadership Institute in Arlington Virginia. He plans to pursue further studies and earn a Juris Doctor from a Law School in the United States.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gerald enjoys speaking to high school youth, university students, and church congregations about serving others, expanding the Kingdom of God, developing strong leaders, and growing ideas into business. He lives with his wife Vanessa and his first daughter Valerie and his second daughter Victoria in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
