The People Behind the Numbers
We celebrate and thank all those who have made this possible.

Local Church Partners
We love the local church. In fact, we work exclusively in partnership with churches — they are the hands and feet of our ministry. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to open more than 410 new Compassion centers with new church partners! We now have over 8,890 church partners in 29 countries around the world.

Supporters
We are so grateful for each of the more than 1.1 million supporters like you who have given their time, talent and treasure to help release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to serve vulnerable children.

Program Volunteers
Volunteers at each Compassion center know the children we serve personally. They lovingly listen to them, help meet their individual needs and tutor and disciple them. Their time, dedication and prayer helped more than 76,000 children graduate from the program in 2024.

Compassion Alumni
Many sponsored children who graduate from Compassion’s program pay it forward as adults, volunteering their time to help children still trapped in poverty learn, grow and feel the love of Jesus. We celebrate the alumni who choose to give back and serve.

Artists
For the past 37 years, our artist ambassadors have helped bring hope to children in poverty by promoting child sponsorship at their concerts. Thank you to for KING & COUNTRY, CeCe Winans, Casting Crowns and more who helped children find sponsors in 2024.
Top Stories of 2024
Acaali faced serious health and developmental issues as a toddler. His mother, who struggled with mental health, often gathered food for them from trash to survive, leaving him malnourished and nonverbal. At age 4, local leaders and a Compassion child development center stepped in, providing him with crucial medical care after diagnosing him with HIV.
They placed Acaali in the care of Martha, a foster mother who welcomed him as her seventh child. Through Martha’s love and the support of the Compassion program, Acaali is flourishing. At 6 years old, he now attends school regularly, has regained his speech and enjoys playing soccer and reading his Bible.

Reaching More Children in Jesus' Name
In July 2024, we set goals of opening 600 new centers in local churches across Africa, Asia and Latin America, and registering 250,000 new children at both new and existing centers.

We're well on our way to reaching that goal, but there's still lots of progress to be made.

As a ministry, we feel called to bridge the gap — connecting millions of children who desperately need help with Christ's followers who have the resources to provide it

You can invest in expanding God's kingdom by helping us welcome more children into the Compassion program.
Financial Integrity
Compassion's total revenues grew 12.28% over the past year. Compassion supporters helped us grow to serve more than 2.3 million children across more than 8,890 frontline church partners (as of November 2024).
