Joanna currently leads four of our global teams: organization development, learning and development, culture and engagement and change management. She is passionate about developing a thriving culture at Compassion that is Christ-centered, inclusive, serious about growth and focused on releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Since 1990, Joanna has consulted with a range of companies around the world, from large, multinational corporations to small, family-owned enterprises across many different industries.
In addition to her consulting expertise, she brings to Compassion over 20 years of diverse leadership experience, including serving as vice president of organization development for the Western Union Company and vice president of HR and strategic development at The Medical Center of Aurora.
Joanna graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in business administration. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Though Joanna grew up in Dallas, she and her family consider Colorado home. When she’s not working, Joanna enjoys reading, gardening, movies, volunteering through church and showing dogs in obedience trials and shows.
