2024 COMPASSION GIVING TREE

A How-to Guide and Helpful Resources to Make Your Church’s Giving Tree Display a Success

Thank you for signing up to display a Compassion Giving Tree at your church this Christmas! What better way to celebrate Jesus' birth than by opening children's hearts to his love?

Each Giving Tree Kit will raise $2,700 to remove the barriers of physical lack and hopelessness that poverty creates, opening children's hearts to the gospel!

Here's How It Works ...

Start with a communal ornament-free tree. Display all the ornaments on a table by the tree along with information about what Giving Tree is and how it’s going to make a difference.

When someone donates by buying an ornament, they can write their name on it and hang it on your church’s tree. This way, the congregation will see the progress they’re making toward raising money for families in need.

Donors will also receive a take-home pamphlet with a story about a child whose family will be helped by their donation. Find more details by downloading the how-to guide.

ORNAMENTS

Your Compassion Giving Tree Kit will arrive soon (if it hasn’t arrived already). Each kit contains:

  • Sixty-four printed ornaments offering ways to pray or give to help children and their families. (There are giving options to fit any budget.)
  • Ornament hangers to make them easy to use.
  • A donation form.
  • Handouts with the story of Wendy who has type 1 diabetes. Donations like the ones your church will collect help children like her to receive the medications they need.
