Hygiene Kit

Kevin and his sister Miranda live in a rural town in El Salvador. They have limited access to clean water and hygiene supplies. The family collects rainwater from their roof and stores it in a barrel. They use this water to take showers, wash clothing and clean dishes — using as little as possible for each task to make their water supply last as long as possible. This situation puts them at higher risk of contracting illnesses, particularly with the COVID-19 pandemic. But, thanks to the generosity of friends like you, Compassion’s local church partner was able to provide Kevin and Miranda’s family with hygiene kits and multivitamins to strengthen their immune systems and protect them from disease. “I feel blessed because the hygiene kit items help to keep me clean,” says 14-year-old Kevin. “The gel sanitizer kills germs and keeps us safe.” Thank you for helping supply families like Kevin and Miranda’s with critical hygiene supplies and training on how to prevent illness so they can stay healthy and safe!
