Food for a Baby and Mother

Catalina and her baby daughter, Gasari, live in a Guatemalan community where malnutrition is common. When Gasari developed an intestinal infection, she was unable to keep her weight up due to the limited food options available to her mother. Thanks to donors like you, the family was given emergency food by Compassion. Both Catalina’s and Gasari’s health improved. Along with the supplies, Catalina also received instructions on how to use them to prepare highly nutritious meals.

“The tutors have taught us to prepare healthier food, to see that vegetables and fruits are always fresh,” says Catalina.
