David A. Dahlin, Executive Vice President
David Dahlin was appointed Compassion International’s Executive Vice President in July of 2008. As EVP, he is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of this global $650 million organization and its over 3,000 employees worldwide. Prior to his current appointment, David served as Compassion’s Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for nearly nine years. He has led the Global Executive Team for more than 15 years and under David’s leadership the organization has grown more than six fold.

Dr. Bambang Budijanto, Regional Vice President of the Asia Area
Expertise: Holistic Child Development, Leadership Development, Community Development, Church and Society, Inter-faith Dialogue (Islam)
Dr. Budijanto has been serving the ministry of Compassion for over 14 years. As Regional Vice President for Asia, he is a passionate believer in Compassion’s strategy to partner with local churches in developing countries.

James Finwick, Vice President of Information Technology
As a strategic implementer with a leadership agenda focused on business performance, Jim has a track record of effective leadership in 30+ countries and cultures. As Compassion’s Vice President of Information Technology, Jim has global responsibility for all aspects of Compassion’s ministry technology including application development, networking, integration and system stability.

Mark Hanlon, Senior Vice President of the USA Group
Mark’s first contact with Compassion was as a sponsor in 1977. He became a staff member in 1978 and has been a member of the Global Executive Team since 1998. Mark had a strong Christian missionary upbringing, as his parents ran inner-city missions in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. This early exposure to the needs of men, women, and children in poverty had a lasting impact on Mark’s life and helped prepare his heart for the ministry of Compassion.

James Hansen, Vice President of Risk Management
James joined Compassion and the Global Leadership Team in 2009. He has vast experience as an auditor, including serving as the Principle Auditor with the Colorado Springs Office of the City Auditor and 19 years with Farmers Insurance Group in Los Angeles. James is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner. He also serves as an officer in the Association of the Certified Fraud Examiner.

Michael Hinckfoot, Vice President of Strategy Integration
Mike joined Compassion in 2002 and has served on the Global Leadership Team since 2008. Mike has earned bachelor’s degrees in both civil engineering and Christian education as well as a master’s degree in the holistic development of families. Prior to his current position in Strategy Integration, Mike served Compassion in the Sponsor Tour area and as the Director of the Leadership Development Program.

Edouard Lassegue, Regional Vice President of the Latin America & the Caribbean Regions
Edouard joined Compassion’s Global Leadership team in 2006, after serving in the ministry as the Haiti Country Director and as the Associate Area Director and then the Area Director for the Central America and Caribbean Area. After graduating from high school in Haiti, Edouard studied in America. He earned a bachelor's degree in Bible education and a master's degree in educational administration and supervision before returning to Haiti, where he founded and pastored a church for 17 years prior to joining Compassion.

Sidney Muisyo, Regional Vice President of the Africa Region
Sidney joined Compassion in 2002, serving in various roles in the Compassion Kenya office including Communications Specialist, Sponsor & Donor Manager, and Kenya Country Director, before joining the Global Leadership Team in 2010. In addition to his work with Compassion, Sidney serves as a board member for 410 Bridge in Kenya and for The Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children.

Stephen Oakley, Vice President of Legal Services and General Counsel
Steve joined Compassion as General Counsel in October 2011 and is responsible for overseeing all of Compassion’s domestic and international legal affairs. He practiced in commercial litigation for the first six years of his career, before transitioning into commercial transactions for the remainder of his 12 years in private practice. Upon graduating from Moody Seminary, Steve resigned as a partner from Hinshaw & Culbertson in Chicago to serve as Vice President and General Counsel of the Moody Bible Institute. Steve has a Bachelor of Art from the University of Illinois in history, a Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School and a Master of Ministry from the Moody Theological Seminary.

Cassandra Shepard, Vice President of Human Resources
Cassandra Shepard joined Compassion’s ministry in 2010 and currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources where she is responsible for assuring the effective employment, engagement and management of human resources worldwide. She brings a robust breadth and depth of human resources leadership experience to Compassion, having transformed teams and business results through the effective use of human resources at prominent companies including Pepsi-Cola and T-Mobile.

Dr. Scott Todd, Senior Vice President of International Partner Development
Dr. Scott Todd joined Compassion in 2003 and currently serves as the principle liaison for the 11 international marketing and fundraising organizations that partner with Compassion to promote the ministry around the world. Prior to this post, Scott served Compassion as the Senior Ministry Advisor in the President’s Office, where he oversaw the organization’s global Advocacy efforts and represented Compassion in networks focused on mission, development, poverty eradication and children. He is the author of Fast Living: How the Church Will End Extreme Poverty and is also one of the architects and Board Chair of the 58: organization — an action-based alliance of world-class, poverty-fighting organizations that have joined together to unleash the power and possibilities of the global Church to end extreme poverty. Prior to his work at Compassion, Scott was an award-winning scientist and a winner of multiple grants in medical research. After receiving his Ph.D. in immunology from the University of California, he was a National Lymphoma Foundation Scholar at Stanford University Medical Center. His medical research was funded by the National Science Foundation, the American Cancer Society and the National Institutes of Health. Scott is a senior author on over a dozen scientific articles published in biomedical journals and holds a patent for the treatment of Hepatitis C.

Dawn Williams, Vice President of Finance
Dawn joined Compassion in 1994 and is currently responsible for monitoring, controlling and safeguarding all corporate financial assets and systems. Prior to joining Compassion Dawn was certified as a Public Account and worked for a regional public accounting firm, where she developed a broad range of skills in auditing, tax litigation, and business consulting. She also had the opportunity to focus on quality standards for other accounting firms through a national peer-review program.

Jeffrey Wood, Sr. Vice President of Ministry Services
Jeff joined Compassion in 1989. He has served the ministry in a variety of leadership roles in Accounting, Information Technology, Corporate Planning, Corporate Project Management, and Global Strategy. In addition to his work with Compassion, Jeff also serves on the Governing Board of Elders at his church and as the Church Treasurer. Jeff is an avid learner, earning a bachelor's degree in economics from Wheaton College and continuing his education in accounting, business, information technology, and project management with courses from Elmhurst College, DePaul University, Keller Graduate School, and Stanford University.

Mark Yeadon, Sr. Vice President of International Program
Mark joined Compassion in 1984 when he accepted a position in the South America Area Office and moved his family to Quito, Ecuador, where he served for three years as Associate Director of Operations and for four years as the Area Director for South America. In 1993, Mark took on the responsibilities of Program Director at Compassion’s Global Ministry Center in Colorado Springs. In his current position as Sr. Vice President of International Program, he is responsible for providing the leadership of Compassion’s program development and management worldwide.
