Vice President of People and Culture Resources
Michael Stuart joined Compassion International in February 2015. He currently leads our People & Culture Partnership, Operations, Facilities, Systems and Solutions and Talent Acquisition teams. Michael is passionate about helping Compassion become a truly transnational organization as we continue to serve our workforce neighbours across the globe.
Before serving at Compassion, Michael was the senior vice president of Global HR Shared Services for IHS Inc., a public company with 9,000 employees in 31 countries. Prior to that, he was a senior HR consultant at Hewitt Associates (now part of Aon). Michael also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Baylor University.
Michael and his wife have been married for 30 years and have been blessed with four children. Their family has sponsored Compassion children for close to 25 years, and they have a deep love for the ministry’s work all around the world.
