Living Positive...with Compassion
Join Compassion's President Dr. Wess Stafford and Dr. Scott Todd, the head of Compassion's AIDS Initiative, as they journey to Africa, the most heavily AIDS-affected region in the world. Malaria: A Plague of the Poor
In recognition of World Malaria Day on April 25, Compassion has produced a new radio special, "Malaria: A Plague of the Poor." Hosted by Grammy award-winning artist Rebecca St. James, the 30-minute special focuses on raising awareness of the disease, educates people about the deadly reality of malaria for children around the world, and describes how Compassion is fighting to change the statistics.
Silencing the Lambs
"Silencing the Lambs" is a dramatic 25-minute radio special on child abuse that features a powerful interview with Compassion International President Emeritus Wess Stafford on the horrific abuse he suffered while attending a Christian boarding school in Africa and how God used that pain to create a passionate advocate for children around the world. Through his vulnerability, Wess hopes the program will help bring healing to victims of child abuse everywhere.
