Those born in poverty live without the most basic necessities. They go without food and clean water. They have no latrines or sanitation systems. And access to medical care is a luxury.

Meeting critical health and medical needs provides a lifeline for the world’s most vulnerable populations. That’s why Compassion addresses such a variety of issues. We deal with malnutrition, malaria and HIV/AIDS. We offer trauma counseling in cases of abuse and violence.

We help with severe medical issues like cancer, heart disease and traumatic injuries. And we make sure children have immunizations and get enough to eat so they’ll have the strength to fight off disease and infection. Because in their deprived conditions, such assistance can mean the difference between life and death.
