Compassion International’s ministry exists to release children from poverty in Jesus' name. Compassion partners with, and sponsors events to educate attendees about our responsibility to care for the poor and provides opportunities for attendees to act on the poor’s behalf.

Compassion’s work began in Korea in 1952. The goal was to nurture and develop each child in the program. That goal continues today with holistic development, focusing on each child’s physical, educational, social, emotional and spiritual well being.

Currently Compassion works in 26 countries, serving 1.2 million children, spanning Central and South America, Africa and Asia.
