Together with other Compassion sponsors, take an adventure into Flores in the northern jungle region of Guatemala, along with the south central capital, Guatemala City, located in the mountainous valley called “Valley de la Ermita.”
Imagine seeing your sponsored child face to face and experiencing overwhelming joy, as you laugh and play together. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of children and their families, locking arms with men and women, who whole heartedly serve the children at the Child Development Centers we will visit. The bonds of friendship you will make with other sponsors will also create lasting memories.
Have you ever asked yourself what a day in a child in an impoverished country looks like? This is your chance. We will be welcomed into homes of children benefiting from Compassion’s program and walk through communities where they live. You will gain a thorough understanding of how sponsorship impacts the life of a child, as you spend time with Child Survival Program mothers & babies and Leadership Development Students.
Enjoy Valentine's Day experiencing God's love with the warm and beautiful people of Guatemala. The tour will also include a day at Tikal National Park! Deep in the jungle and surrounded by lush vegetation, the park boasts one of the major sites of ancient Mayan civilization and ruins.
