Day 1 Arrival into Bolivia
Meet in our gateway city of Miami, FL to fly together to Santa Cruz, BO and begin our amazing adventure!
Day 2 Santa Cruz
Arrival into Santa Cruz, rest at the hotel, and prepare for a fun time at a Compassion Student Center, playing with the children, learning about their curriculum, and visiting their families. If your sponsored child is in Santa Cruz, this is the day you will spend with your child!
Day 3-5 Cochabamba
Worship with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as we join a local Compassion affiliated church in the city. During our time here in Cochabamba we will experience the power of the child sponsorship program. Our time will include seeing Compassion’s work through the Child Survival Program (CSP) and we’ll also take the opportunity to meet the amazing individuals who work hard to make your sponsorship possible in Bolivia, our Compassion Bolivia country office staff. If your sponsored child is in Cochabamba, you will spend one of these days with your child!
Day 6-8 La Paz
Last but not least, we will visit La Paz, which rests at very high elevation. While we are getting used to the elevation we will do some local sightseeing and shopping! You will have one final visit to a Compassion Student center leaving lots of hugs behind! And you will spend an amazing meal getting to know some of the emerging young leaders in our Leadership Development Program (LDP). If your child is in La Paz, you will spend one of these days with your child!
Day 9 Depart for home
Although it will be hard, and with our hearts full to overflowing, we must say good bye to our new found friends and the beloved country of Bolivia to return home and continue sharing the amazing experiences we had.
In order to ensure our children's protection and determine eligibility to travel with Compassion, we now require all travelers (over the age of 18) to complete a criminal background check to ensure the safety of the children in our programs.
Please visit Screening One Sponsor Tour BC to complete your online background check at the time of registration. If you are unable to complete this online, please contact us and we will send you a paper form for you to fill out and return. Compassion uses a third party vendor, Screening One to process background checks. The results of your background check are confidential and all personal information is encrypted and secure.
