More Than Just an Internship
How would you like to join the war on poverty and make a difference in the lives of more than 1 million children around the world? Compassion International offers a holistic Internship Program that fits both your passion and your education! Through the Compassion Internship Program you'll have the opportunity to put your calling to work while being immersed in growth opportunities that will empower you holistically for future endeavors.
What's different about Compassion's Internship Program? Compassion International is a nonprofit ministry that provides a holistic development program for children living in poverty around the world; Compassion's internship replicates this core mission by incorporating holistic development into the program. Interns have a unique opportunity for not only professional development, but also personal and spiritual growth. Through weekly educational meetings, community volunteering, and weekly Bible studies, interns experience more than just an internship.

Testimonials
Here is what some of our 2009 Internship Program graduates had to say:
"This internship has given me so many opportunities for growth in so many areas; I have been developed professionally, spiritually and socially. I have been incredibly impressed with everyone's genuine desire to invest in us, not for a certain outcome, but simply because they want to." - Kelsey S.
"I love that I come into the Compassion office and every week I am pushed to know His love more - both for myself and for others. I am challenged and convicted day by day to live a life that is intentional about making much of Christ, and to really care about the things He cares about. Compassion's Internship Program has opened my eyes to God's love for children and for the poor; it has shown me what it looks like to preach the gospel in word AND deed, and what faith looks like if I am really after knowing His heart." - Daniel Z.
"I have never participated in an internship program structured with such a holistic growth plan. Not only are we being challenged and developed in our skill sets and professional goals, but also in the spiritual and relational elements as well." - Rachel P.
