Malaria kills nearly 1 million people every year, most under the age of 5. It is transmitted exclusively by mosquitos and is both preventable and treatable. Your gift will help give children and their families the gift of mosquito-free sleep with an insecticide-treated bed net. These high quality nets last three times longer than standard mosquito nets. Children and families will also receive training in how to use the net and education about ways to prevent the breeding areas where mosquitos thrive.
