Emergency Feeding Program

Do you know where your next meal is coming from? For many, they rely on an emergency feeding program to have food and medicine. Many of these children suffer from malnutrition, stunted growth, developmental delays and serious disease.

• Hunger is the world’s number one health risk. It kills more people than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.

• One in seven people in the world will go to bed hungry tonight.

• Over 300 million children go to bed hungry every day.

• Every day, almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes. That's one child every five seconds.

Compassion’s emergency feeding program gives malnourished children an opportunity to have hope. They receive nutritious food and medicine. Their parents also receive training on how to help them regain what has been lost because of malnutrition.
