It has been an amazing year — and that’s largely due to you! Celebrate the highlights of 2017 as we prepare for the year ahead!
Celebrating 2017 — And Looking Forward to 2018!
It has been an amazing year — and that’s largely due to you! Celebrate the highlights of 2017 as we prepare for the year ahead!
A Year of Passion — In January, attendees at the 2017 Passion Conference sponsored every child waiting for a sponsor in El Salvador, Indonesia, Rwanda and Tanzania — more than 7,000 total! This is just one example of how young people around the globe are ready to change the world!
A Year of Belief — While Compassion’s closing of its operations in India is certainly not something to be celebrated, we believe that God is at work among the churches we partnered with in India. We continue to pray for the children we served there as well as their families and sponsors.
A Year of Growth — The technology upgrades Compassion experienced in 2017 were done for a very real purpose — to reach even more children. This time of building will lead a season of growth and answering God’s call to release His children from poverty.
Looking Forward to 2018 — In the coming year, thousands more children will be registered in Compassion’s sponsorship program. Babies and mothers will join the Survival initiative. And young men and women around the world will finish well, becoming agents of change in their communities. And it’s all because of friends like you. Thank you, in advance, for making 2018 an amazing year!
A Year of Rebuilding – This year many of the children we serve faced natural disasters, including flooding in Peru, landslides in Ethiopia and hurricanes in Mexico. But because of faithful supporters like you, hundreds of thousands were provided food, building supplies and, most importantly, hope for the future.
