Alberto is passionate to see the Body of Christ move together for the sake of children in poverty and to bring glory to God.
Alberto has over 25 years of experience in brand management, global marketing and product innovation. He has served in local, global, start-up and turnaround roles, leading brand portfolios and flagship brands for Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods and Visa.
Now serving as Compassion’s vice president of Global Marketing and Brand Experience (GMBX), Alberto oversees and leads a team of experts spanning marketing strategy, brand management, market research, experience design, partnerships and product. These complementary disciplines are focused on enabling Compassion teams around the world to know, love and connect our neighbours through the design and continuous improvement of life-changing, connected and personalized brand experiences.
Alberto’s global mindset understands, respects and values different perspectives from all over the world; his global mindset is born from his own experience. He hails from Mexico, has lived in six countries and is trilingual — English, Spanish and French.
Alberto and his wife have been married for more than 25 years and are the proud parents of two beautiful ladies and a son, who keep them young. At church, Alberto and his wife lead ParenTeen, a community of parents of teenagers.
