How Can We Help Families Devastated by the Earthquake in Haiti?

On Saturday, August 14, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck southwest Haiti, directly impacting the area of more than 17K Compassion-assisted children. Houses, roads, businesses, churches and government buildings have been damaged, including 46 Compassion child development centers, 15 of which are considered “destroyed.” As the death toll has risen to over 2,100 people, it is estimated that this devastating earthquake has impacted 1.2 million people, who need clean water, medical care and shelter.
