Disaster Alert: March 15, 2022

In early March, heavy rains caused a landslide in the District of Jamalca affecting several communities. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) in the area report that, so far, 117 participants and their families have been affected. Many homes were damaged, and families lost household items. The CDCs are using the Compassion Disaster Relief fund to supply tents for temporary housing, food, mattresses, clothing and water to affected families.

Please pray for the participants and their families as they recover from this landslide and CDC staff as they minister to affected families.

Final Update: March 29, 2022
