In total, seven beneficiaries and their families were affected. The affected families were supported by the Child Development Center and are now back in their homes.

Disaster Alert: November 3, 2020

Tropical Storm Zeta brought heavy rain to Nicaragua which caused the Ochomogo River to overflow and flood the Paso Real Ochomogo sector. The flooding damaged 60 homes in the community. The Red Cross and local disaster agency provided evacuation and emergency assistance. The local health office is providing food and health care to the evacuated families temporarily living in the San Rafael shelter. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) are assessing the situation. To date, seven beneficiaries and their families have been impacted, and the CDCs are providing food and spiritual and emotional support.
