The community situation has improved significantly and is now stable. In total, 39 beneficiaries were affected. Improvements were made to damaged homes and the affected families received food and water.

Disaster Alert: June 15, 2020

The winter season has begun in Nicaragua with torrential rains, strong winds and high tides. The coastal areas are experiencing flooding. So far, 33 beneficiaries have been affected. Most affected families have temporarily repaired their damaged homes to keep the rains out. Two families are living with relatives because their homes were destroyed. The Child Development Centers are keeping in touch with the families and supporting them, as needed.
