Disaster Alert: December 11, 2019

Heavy rains, wind, and landslides are affecting extensive areas across Uganda. We have not yet received specific impact details; however, we do know several Child Development Centers (CDCs) in Bumasikye, Bududa, Mbale, Bushikon, and Busiu have reported impact on beneficiary homes. In addition, some caregivers have lost their crops and means of livelihood.

The CDCs are continuing to gather impact information from the beneficiaries. The Compassion Uganda National Office has organized relief assistance for the affected families.

Please pray for the safety of our beneficiaries, families, and church partners throughout Uganda.
