Disaster Alert: October 17, 2019

Heavy rains began in the East and Central areas of El Salvador on October 15 and lasted two full days. There were mudslides, overflowed rivers flooding streets, and sustained strong winds. Many homes were damaged. Thankfully, the rains have decreased now and the threat is reduced. So far, one Child Development Center (CDC) and 122 beneficiaries have been affected. The CDCs have provided food and clothing to the affected beneficiaries. They are also providing materials for repairing homes that were damaged.

Please pray for the affected beneficiaries and their families as they recover from the losses and damages.
