Disaster funds were utilized to repair damaged buildings and classrooms at the Child Development Center. They should be operational and ready soon for the students when programming resumes.

Disaster Alert: June 8, 2020

Torrential rain fell on the Kloto Mountains and the community of Blifou. The rain, in conjunction with strong winds, damaged many buildings and homes. The Child Development Center (CDC) buildings were damaged or destroyed. Thankfully, no beneficiary homes were damaged and there were no injuries. The church is utilizing local support to clear the debris and gather supplies to make repairs. The CDC is in communication with the Compassion Togo National Office regarding the situation.
