Final Update: April 9, 2020
In total, one Child Development Center (CDC) and eight beneficiaries were affected. The CDCs used Crisis Relief funds and provided needed support to all affected beneficiaries and their families. The families are living in temporary shelters until their homes can be rebuilt. The Tanzania National Office plans on using Crisis Intervention funds for home construction.

Update #1: March 16, 2020
To date, 28 beneficiaries have been affected. The affected beneficiaries and their families have received relief support such as food, rental support, and temporary shelter. Many of them are also receiving support to build retaining walls with rock and gravel and water channels to keep the homes from flooding.
Please pray for the affected beneficiaries and their families as they recover from the damages and losses.
Disaster Alert: February 5, 2020
Turiani, in the Mvomero District of the Morogoro region in Tanzania, has received heavy rainfall and flooding. So far, five beneficiaries have been affected. The Child Development Centers are focused on meeting immediate needs like food, bedding, household items, and temporary shelters.
