Disaster alert: Flash flood at Baramchal, Pirerchock, Koroigora, Mugaipar & Kulpotak, Bangladesh

Major rains have caused the worst flooding in 120 years in northern Bangladesh. Tens of thousands of families in affected communities have been displaced. Project staff are visiting children by boat. Roads in every village have been submerged and many homes have water damage. Families are severely deprived of communication facilities, sanitation facilities, clean water and food and living without jobs.
