Thank You for Your Gift of Emergency Food and Water

“My house fell apart in front of my eyes,” 8-year-old Jahir remembers. In the middle of the night, Jahir watched from higher ground as much of his small Peruvian village was destroyed by a flood from the nearby river. Following the flood, the community was left beaten down and without food or water. However, light shone in the darkness when the local Compassion center director showed up with food and water.
