Compassion Go Rep

Travel the country this year and change the lives of children living in poverty

Do you like to travel? Want to make an impact on the world? Compassion International is seeking enthusiastic representatives to travel the country to make a global impact. This is an exciting opportunity for upcoming or recent graduates who love the ministry of Compassion, are ready for some adventure, and desire to build their resume with valuable skills for future employment. Compassion Go Reps will have the opportunity of a lifetime all while making a global impact in the fight against poverty. Travel costs are covered, and participants will receive up to $350 a week for meals and experiences on the road as a part of this unique volunteer leadership team with a mission.

Compassion Go Reps will travel to live events all around the country for a 6 month season on our Compassion Experience tours. They will gain valuable professional development experience, a resume booster, and networking contacts with one of the largest and most reputable non-profits in the world. Compassion Go Reps will also see the impact of their work in Jesus’ name, helping to bring hope to thousands of children living in poverty.

LOCATION: Travel will be throughout the contiguous United States!

COMMITMENT: Choose one session below.

  • Spring - January 7, 2019 to June 16, 2019
  • Fall - June 2, 2019 to December 9, 2019

  • Exceptions at discretion of management. Built in breaks at home will be allotted during duration of commitment.

    Reports to: Program Manager of Volunteer Mobilization – may be mentored or coached throughout the duration of each term by an assigned Specialist or Associate Manager.

    There will be an interview process prior to commitment.

    • Professional development, mentoring, and networking contacts in the industry and at Compassion International.
    • Proactive and regular communications from your supervisor to check in and motivate you in your ministry. Supervisors will typically be available most days and evenings for your needs as you serve.

    Support and Training Provided:

    • Onboarding includes:
      • Onsite training in Colorado Springs the first week after start date.
      • Documents and agreements to sign (Volunteer Leadership Agreement, Confidentiality agreement, etc.)
    • May be asked to attend additional training activities as necessary for successful service in the role.
    • A stipend or per diem (in the range of $50/day) may be added to help cover food expenses and travel entertainment. All travel, lodging, and transportation will be provided.
    • Reimbursement or direct billing of approved volunteer expenses including travel related expenses (flights, hotels, rental cars), shipping, event supplies, and other approved volunteer expenses.
