Dear God . . . Why don't snakes have feet? How do they walk?
Joseph, you're one observant young man! I don't know about you, but I'm kind of glad they don't walk! This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. I grew up in Africa with that same curiosity about the creatures around us. We weren't distracted by video games and the Internet — we had SNAKES! I recently read a children's "checklist" with the headline: "Every kid should." It included things like: believe in things that can't be seen, camp in the back yard, watch the stars come out, blow soap bubbles. Here's one I'd like to add: Every kid should have a dream for the future and an adult who believes in that dream! The gift you give a child today will last a lifetime. This is Wess Stafford.
