Dear God . . . If you have time, can you bless my family?
Mario, God not only has time — it's what He desires to do! And He will use you, my friend, as a blessing to your family! This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. Whenever I hear a prayer like this from one of our Compassion projects I have two reactions: First, I'm moved by the heart of a child asking God not just for something for himself, but for his loved ones. Second, my heart fills with pride because it tells me that we are doing our job of teaching children in poverty what's really important in this world. Every child needs someone to call "family."
