You're so right, Olman! And we need to do something about it. This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. Children of parents who abuse drugs often are abused or neglected as a result of the preoccupation with drugs. Violent drug crime is rampant and children suffer … even die as a result. We need to use our influence to advocate and support a protective environment for children at national and global levels. As families, churches and individuals — we need to be informed and ready to protect our children. As those who serve children, volunteers, advocates, teachers and parents, we can prevent and respond to the violence and exploitation of children! We must!
