Dear God . . . I don't like it when my older sister bosses me around!
Oh Farit, I know that can be difficult to put up with sometimes! But believe it or not — you and your sister will appreciate each other a lot more as you get older. This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. We may not all recognize it early in life, but siblings are very important. Sadly, many children are separated from their brothers or sisters due to divorce or other family issues. Children in poverty are often passed around among relatives when finances grow thin. It can be a lonely time for a child. You can't take the place of a sibling — but you can be a "big sister" or a "big brother" mentor to a child. It will make a difference! This is Wess Stafford. Speak up with Compassion to a child in your world.
