Dear God . . . Do you play soccer in heaven? I like it more than any other sport!
Madoche your enthusiasm is awesome I'll bet you're a great soccer player, my friend. This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. Last year in Kenya the youngsters in one of our Compassion projects played their hearts out with the sorriest looking soccer ball you ever saw — made from gluing wads of string together. But it didn't make a bit of difference to the children. Children in poverty have so little — and yet enjoy so much! The lack of material "things" often creates in them a true joy of what they do have. Pray for a child in poverty! Not for the "things" they're missing — but for the joy Jesus can bring to the heart of a child! This is Wess Stafford. Speak up with compassion — pray for the children of the world.
