Dear God. . .Why is there so much violence?
Gabriela, we should all be asking your question! When responsible adults do something about it, things will begin to change! This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. A recent World Health Organization bulletin says governments around the world are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that violence can be prevented. In Jamaica alone, their numbers indicate violence to be the leading cause of death in young men, and the fifth-leading cause of death for people of all ages. And the young and the poor are most heavily impacted. Your church can do something in your community: like opening the doors for times of recreation, helping with homework, letting young people interact with responsible and caring adults!
