Dear God . . . How do you heal all the sick people?
Brendo, your wonderful question shows your heart, my friend. Sometimes God chooses not to heal. I don't always understand why, but I do know that with suffering, comes compassion. This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. There's the story of a man who says, "I saw a small girl, cold and shivering in a thin dress, with little hope of a decent meal. I became angry and said to God, 'Why did you permit this? Why don't you do something?'" God replied, "I did do something about it. I made you!" Volunteer in the children's wing at a local hospital.
