Without doctors and nurses and other medical staff who volunteer their time and give supplies to help those in poverty — most of the clinics would be closed. But the needs continue and many locations have one doctor to serve thousands of people scattered in remote villages and towns. One doctor told me recently, "The medical community is coming together in unprecedented ways to help the people of the world. God can do the impossible through us."
