Soniya, all of us who follow Jesus, must set aside a part of what we have, so you can have "enough." This is Wess Stafford Stafford, President of Compassion International. God commanded that every person set aside a portion of his or her fields for the widow and orphan. And He made it clear it wasn't a suggestion. Jesus said, "When you give a feast, invite the poor." Deliver leftover banquet food to the mission, approach food suppliers to donate food and clothing. In the giving of your time and money, set aside a percentage dedicated to the poor. God doesn't want us to merely feel sorry for the poor — He wants us to act on their behalf! This is Wess Stafford. Speak up with compassion for those in need!
