Oh Sutti, I remember thinking like that when I was a child. I know that school can be tough…but hang in there — I have confidence that you can do it. God has big plans for you, my friend! This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. More than any other emotion, the poor feel overwhelmed. Without financial resources, shelter, food, education, or skills, there's hopelessness — the essence of poverty! Tragically, it happens at a very early age. When asked to do the simplest thing, their response is, "I can't!" They've already given up. I'm convinced every child can accomplish great things — if given the chance. Invest in a child.
