Dear God. . .Can you cure my father? He's very sick!

Cinthia, it's so hard to see someone we love sick!  But when it seems like God isn't answering your prayer, it doesn't mean He doesn't care. God always wants what's best for you, my little friend. This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. Someone said, "Into every life a little rain must fall!" but children in poverty seem to get more rain than their fair share… And certainly children are impacted negatively by what they see taking place around them. But you can help them find ways to reach out to someone else in need. Cook a meal together for an elderly friend, draw a get-well card for someone in your church who's been sick.  When children see you reach out to those who are hurting — they will learn to do the same. This is Wess Stafford. Speak up with compassion — with a child in your world!
