Dear God. . .Why do we have so many gangs in my country?
When we lose hope — it's easy to get into trouble! But sweet Jeudy, the answer isn't found in a gang — it's in following Jesus. Being part of His family! This is Wess Stafford, President of Compassion International. Children need to belong! And many young people discover that sense of belonging and attention in a gang. It becomes a family to them. And when poverty, violence and fragmented families are all a child knows — a gang can look pretty good! There are better alternatives. Boys and girls clubs, the YMCA and Salvation Army are all doing their part to give kids a place to "belong." But they need your help. Volunteer.
