Dr. Wesley K. Stafford, President of Compassion International, grew up in a remote village in West Africa with his missionary parents — developing a lifelong passion to help the poor and needy. Wess moved to the United States in his teens — not realizing God would use him to have an impact on thousands of impoverished children!
After 15 years with Compassion, Wess became president in 1993. He's a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Biola University, Wheaton College Graduate School and Michigan State University.
Wess is married to Donna and has two daughters, Jennifer and Kathryn; they live near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
