Explain why this course of study was assigned to you: They gave me a list of courses of study and I had to choose one of them, but I didn’t have a chance to enter the college and study that I wanted.
How did you come to accept Christ as your personal Savior? I accepted Jesus in my life during a summer Bible school for children at church. I was 8 years old.
Who has had the most influence on your life and why? My aunt's behavior influenced me, especially her passion in going to church and praying with others. She always asked me to pray before going to bed. All those things made me understand the importance of accepting Jesus.
How has God used Compassion to form who you are today? God has used Compassion to make me an honest person in the community through their spiritual, intellectual and physical training. Thanks to Compassion, I have become a strong girl who is not shy and knows how to use her talents and stay away from the passions of this world.
What was your family life like? It is a Christian family of nine children who have a different life from many other families, due to the harmony we have at home and in the community and by the way we are generous with others. While attending university, I live with my brother, as my parents are not living in Port-au-Prince.
Describe the environment where you grew up: It is a green place that is attractive and picturesque. The streets are clean and schools are well built. The people are very generous and welcoming. They are very interested in forestation and the beauty of the town.
What are some of your favorite activities? I like watching TV, reading, dancing and teaching others.
How are you currently serving in your local church or community? I help with the regular cleaning at church and when there is preparation for special activities. Sometimes I lead services, read the Scripture aloud, advise children, and discuss interesting matters with young people.
Tell us some of your strengths or special achievements: My greatest pride is because I received a certificate from my service to the children at church and in summer Bible school. I am very reliable.
How do you hope to use your future career and leadership skills to be a servant leader and help your community, church and country? During my career, I will help or participate in the smooth running of our institutions. I want to be a model leader who doesn't practice fraud, and to give training about how to be a better administrator.
Tell us about your goals for next year:
Spiritual: To be mature spiritually and respect the rules of God and teach others about it.
Physical: To be in good shape and have good health.
Academic: To complete my studies proudly and then start working.
Social/Emotional: To have respect for everybody and to keep using good manners.
Servant Leadership: I see myself as a young woman ready to support others around me, help them and influence them by my character and sense of responsibility.
Do you have a prayer request? I ask you to pray for me so that I can complete my studies in well and that I always stay under the power of God. Please ask God to keep my family safe and bless them according to His will.
