A daily miracle — a look inside the life of a sponsored child in rural Thailand.

Take this visual tour to get a better sense of what life looks like for a sponsored child who lives in rural Thailand. You'll learn how sponsorship helps children stay healthy, learn valuable skills and, most importantly, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aren't sure whether your child lives in a rural or urban setting? Visit "My Account" and click "Child Information." Under "Project Information," there is a description that tells you the nearest city to your child's community.

Map of Thailand

Known as Siam until 1939, Thailand is located in Southeast Asia and has a population of more than 64 million. In the 1990s Thailand's growth rate was among the world's highest, placing increased pressure on the country's economy.

Although Buddhism is the central religion of Thailand, Islam is prevalent in the southern provinces. Violence in these provinces has escalated, and many children in southern Thailand have been orphaned or uprooted as families flee the area.
