A daily miracle — a look inside the life of a sponsored child in rural Tanzania.

Take this visual tour to get a better sense of what life looks like for a sponsored child who lives in a rural setting in Tanzania. You'll learn how sponsorship helps children stay healthy, learn valuable skills and, most importantly, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aren't sure whether your child lives in a rural or urban setting? Visit "My Account" and click "Child Information." Under "Project Information," there is a description that tells you the nearest city to your child's community.

Map of Tanzania

Tanzania is a republic in East Africa, located on the Indian Ocean. A diverse country in which close to 100 different languages are spoken, Tanzania was formed in 1964 by the federation of the nations of Tanganyika and Zanzibar. The country's name is a combination of the first syllables of the component territories' names. Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft.), the highest mountain in Africa, is located near the northeastern border of Tanzania.
