A daily miracle — a look inside the urban life of a sponsored child in Nicaragua.

Take this visual tour to get a better sense of what life is like for a sponsored child who lives in an urban setting in Nicaragua. You'll learn how sponsorship helps children stay healthy, learn valuable skills and, most importantly, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aren't sure whether your child lives in a rural or urban setting? Visit "My Account" and click "Child Information." Under "Project Information," there is a description that tells you the nearest city to your child's community.

Your sponsored child lives in Nicaragua, the largest country in Central America. Nicaragua has had a stormy history, marred by internal conflicts and poverty. Compassion began registering children into Nicaragua's programs in June 2002. Currently, more than 16,000 children participate in 91 projects.
