Brazil Project - Rural

A daily miracle — a look inside the life of a sponsored child in rural Brazil.

Take this visual tour to get a better sense of what life looks like for a sponsored child who lives in rural Brazil. You'll learn how sponsorship helps children stay healthy, learn valuable skills and, most importantly, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aren't sure whether your child lives in a rural or urban setting? Visit "My Account" and click "Child Information." Under "Project Information," there is a description that tells you the nearest city to your child's community.

children at project Children line up to wash their hands at the Compassion student center in Tabatinga (BR-164), north of Recife. At most Compassion-assisted projects, children receive much-needed health care and preventative care against the common ailments of asthma, bronchitis, influenza, anemia, malnutrition, intestinal worms and skin diseases. Children learn the importance of washing their hands and keeping clean —lessons they take to their parents and siblings.
